The Diploma in Policing is aimed at students who are pursuing management careers within the field of Policing and Law Enforcement. The level of flexibility within the range of electives will allow the individual to pursue further specialisation in the field of Policing and Law Enforcement.

- 1 year (If you have a level 5 Qualification in safety and security field)
- 2 Years ( you start with a National Certificate: Tactical Road Traffic Operations
- NQF Level 5 Course)

Purpose:
The purpose of this qualification is to obtain a nationally recognised qualification in the law enforcement environment and to uplift the professional standards of policing. It will improve relationships between employer and employees and organisation and client (community) and attract and retain quality employees.
At the end of the course a learner will have skills knowledge and attributes to:
- Apply management skills
- Implement workplace relations in a work environment.
- Apply applicable legislation in a work environment
- Utilise a document management system.
- Assess service delivery of the organisation
- Range: Organization refers to but is not limited to a division, department and station of work
- Analyse operational plans for deployment and law enforcement purposes.
Salary Range
Salaries for graduates vary based on experience, location, and job role. On average:
- Entry-level positions: R180,000 – R250,000 per annum
- Experienced officers and specialists: R250,000 – R400,000 per annum
- Supervisory and management roles: R400,000 – R600,000+ per annum
